In a recent statement, the Israeli Embassy in Manila said Israel "remained firmly committed to ensuring that humanitarian assistance reaches civilians in Gaza."
"Since the start of the war, over 100,000 aid trucks carrying nearly 2 million tons of supplies have entered the Strip, more than 25,000 since January 2025 alone, carrying food, water and supplies in coordination with international organizations and partner countries," it said.
He said the recognition of these injustices reinforced the "importance of holding Israel accountable for its violations of international humanitarian law."
